We are looking for an account manager, who is curious, motivated and open-minded enough to embark on a different career adventure.
Candidates with less experience will be considered for a Senior Account Executive position.
Responsibilities
- Builds solid working relationships with the team, clients and working partners through understanding the client’s business and current industry trends
- Communicate clearly and accurately with international markets – experience in cross-cultural delivery or globally collaborate teams
- Ability to independently lead and influence conversations with clients, stakeholders, suppliers, and partner agencies
- Responsible for existing account growth and diversification metrics
- Assist with supplier sourcing and contract negotiation to deliver campaign activity
- Ability to manage & handle multiple projects at any one time for multiple clients
- Identify and drive new business opportunities through existing or new business relationships
- Propose solutions and perspectives to the problems
- Demonstrate success in nurturing, growing and sustaining client relationships
- Know how to recognize/articulate/challenge strategic intent of creative & media
- Oversees team utilisation, finance & resource management issues
- Assist with workstream related budget planning and predictions
- Ensures flawless execution of all program elements across multi-channel programs offline and online
- Prepare effective and succinct briefs internally and externally
- Partner with Business leads and Creative leads to identify any resource needs
- Consolidate presentation materials and support Account Management in preparing for client presentations (this may include independently assembling the deck on your own)
- Oversee projects workflow to ensure efficiency and the highest quality of deliverables
- Learns to develop good judgment of ingenious brand building creative ideas
- Keeps all teams involved, informed of relevant brand and competitive activities
- Takes entrepreneurial calculated risks and acts on opportunities that lead to significant gains for the business
Requirements
- 3-5 years account experience in a creative advertising agency preferred
- Strong grasp of social media space and online media jargon and technology
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment
- Ability to effectively and appropriately interact with co-workers at a variety of levels, across many disciplines
- Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Strong financial understanding of budgeting, estimating and agency profitability
- A track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees
- Highly organised with a keen sense of attention to detail
- Exceptional initiative and follow through skills
- After hours work and overnight traveling to shoots and post sessions required
- The confidence to interact with clients, have a POV and make presentations
